School discipline: how has it changed?

Dou you think school discipline is the same now? You must go into a school…

Years ago, teachers were more strict than currently. Students had a lot of respect for their teachers. Now, society is more permissible with young people and this attitude is present too in the school.

In the past, teachers had a lot of authority, but in the present they haven’t this power.

Now, sometimes, there are parents that never believe teachers when they tell them information about their sons. Years ago, that didn’t happen.

Fortunately, nowadays corporal punishment is banned but, in the past, teachers used to hit. I think that was terrible.

I prefer today’s discipline, but I think students must be more respectful.

My old school

When I was a child, I liked my school. It was an old building but very nice. It had  two floors, three gardens and a big Gym. I remember that I was fond of my teachers, especially  my History teacher. My favourite subjects were Spanish Language and History because they were very interesting for me and I liked to study them.
I had a lot of friends, but my best friends only were three: Toni, Raúl and Miguel. We always played in the school and  we spoke a lot in class too, and the teachers scolded us.
 I was usually afraid of my exams because I didn't want failing them.  I was worried about the rules too, because the teachers were very stric with us.
The timetable was a bit tiring, specially on mondays.
I would like to be a child again  and  go back to my old school with all my friends.
